Meet Our Team

Laura Goodnight is the Senior Commercial Accounts Manager and a member of BPIA’s Management Team. She and her family moved from Texas to the Bay Area in 2005 and back to Texas in 2007. Laura joined the BPIA team with over 20 years Personal and Commercial lines experience.

She enjoyed steady advancement, over 20 years, representing The Hartford Insurance Company in San Antonio, Texas. She held numerous positions during her time at Hartford: Records Supervisor, Billing Rep, Account Associate, Customer Care Specialist and Commercial/Select Customer Underwriter. Laura also worked for Benchmark Insurance Group for many years as a Personal Lines Account Manager & Commercial Account Manager for large accounts.

Laura’s expansive insurance knowledge, exceptional client service and people skills are an inspiration for the entire team. She is directly responsible for the Commercial Account Services Representatives. She ensures that our client’s insurance needs are met with efficiency, exceptional quality and always with a smile.

Laura, enjoys traveling, bowling, reading, wine tasting, country music and most of all has a great love for Pugs of which she has 4 (Bogie, Chewy, Foster and Waldo); she and her husband are active volunteers with the Pug Rescue Austin.
